Hawaiian Vikings was born out of the dreams of our two young daughters, Valkyrie (9) and Freyja (6), who wanted to create something that embraced our heritage and celebrated the essence of who we are as a family. Their curiosity about our Viking roots and love for Hawaiian culture sparked a desire to merge these two rich traditions into something tangible—a brand that not only tells our story but also inspires others to connect with their own sense of adventure and identity.

But beyond that, we felt a growing need to reconnect with the values that have stood the test of time—values that seem to be slipping away in a world increasingly divided by opinions and beliefs. In a time when so much has changed, we believe there’s power in looking back to the old ways—ways that emphasized community, resilience, and a warrior spirit—to guide us in the modern world.

Hawaiians and Vikings were the original adventurers, fearless seafarers who respected the ocean and the land. They knew the strength that came from unity and the importance of pushing past limits, both personal and collective. We seek to merge these two rich traditions, not just as a nod to our roots, but as a way to inspire a new generation of Badass Warriors and Warrioresses through our clothing apparel.
